My first really nice mouse I ever bought was the Logitech MX 1000. One of the most amazing features on that mouse was the scroll wheel. Most of the time it scrolled normally, but if you spun it quickly it would free spin and scroll really fast. Logitech kept this feature with its successor, the MX Revolution, but inexplicably removed it from their current high-end mice (the Performance MX and the gaming G700). The G700, hilariously, replaced smart scroll with a god damn button that switches between the two scrolling modes. It feels like a Chinese knock-off off a Logitech mouse and I'm ashamed to say that I actually bought the damn thing. That said, as bad as it is, I'm not sure I want to return it unless there is another mouse on the market that has a similar feature. Is there?
