so I bought this ms wireless optical and it has this really annoying half second lag between my hand movement and the mouse. I keep trying wireless mice and I'm always let down. I'm probably gonna go back to my old wired one.

MX700 is the perfect mouse...if you are a wireless mouse basher, you haven't used one yet...plain and simple...

Yep MX 700 is the best optical mouse at the time and its wireless to boot, so go get yourself a couple and blind your cats or frag buddies with them :p

Read the reviews. MX700 is the closest to a wired mouse as you'll get.

I like my Logitech Cordless Elite Duo (Mouse + Keyboard). Never noticed any lag...and I play FPS games a lot. I'd like to try an MX700 though.

yeah I haven't used that specific model but once you start getting that far up the ladder it's not really worth it anymore. It just seems ass backwards that you have to pay 70 dollars for a mouse to match a 15 dollar model.

Name a wireless mouse that can perform as well as the MX700 and I'll be glad to take back my statement.

Other wireless mice may not be able to match the MX700 performance, but that does not mean they are not decent.

You know these forums have a Hot Deals section, right?

Cordless MX Duo (mouse + keyboard) was $50.

The original poster was complaining of lag, and when it comes to lag, if you can notice it, it's not decent. :p

You're seriously dumb.

I have the Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical, no problems at all.

more like a 40 dollar mouse is comparable to 70 dollar mouse. for me the choice to go wireless was no choice at all, i had to have wireless.

but if you want something comparable to mx700, it's mx300 for the dpi, and mx 500 for the nifty buttons. :p

So you are saying that all other wireless mice have noticeable lag?

WRONG.

I have the cheepest wireless optical I've ever seen... I paid $5 for it. It's a GE wireless optical. Works great, and the mouse has a great feel too.

I just quit using it because I can't be bothered to mess with batteries. :p

It's now a nice silver ornament on my shelf. Maybe I'll decide to sell it. Dunno.

I do :(

I don't game and even when I do it isn't so critical to me. Does annoy me when I am drawing or editing pictures though at times but I can live with that.

I have the Memorex MX4350 Wirelss Optical at home and at work...it's pretty good...comes with a tonne of accessories and a charging pod so no worries about batteries.
