Wireless Laptop to TV transmitter?

that streams my desktop to my TV--is there anything out there that I should consider instead?

What hardware are you running? There is WiDi if you've got Ivy Bridge and the right network card.

did you read the reviews on amazon? sounds like it is a piece of garbage unless your pc is 5 feet from your tv in direct line of sight.

It'll be Dell laptops and standard LCd/LED tvs. It's for conference rooms in our office so range isn't hugely important, just reliability.

Any Widi device that you recommend?
