I've heard that wireless keyboards add latency in games. I don't use a cordless mouse, which would probably add more latency since you use it more in games, but I was thinking of getting a wireless kb. The 2 things I was worried about was added latency in games (I'm a fast twitch gamer, can't have that).

And also I was worried if I'd be able to use a wireless kb with my Belkin 4node KVM switch

Yes it is, but most wireless mice/keyboards are radio based. (Notice this by placing things over/around the receiver and it still works). Don't ask my why it would matter but my Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse works from the room next door (I was just screwin around with it once), I think I remember reading somewhere that it works upto 80ft away (again I have NFC why they would engineer such a strong transmitter in a device that never has to transmit more then 4 feet....maybe someone was bored).

A number of my friends have found wireless keyboards too slow for gaming, while they find wireless mice just fine (especially if you up the PS/2 sampling (polling) rate).
