Wireless keyboard problem

A while ago I got a rosewill brand wireless kb/mouse combo from chiefvalue. I was quite dissapointed to see how slow I had to type so it wouldnt miss too many key stroke. I was convinced it was the distance of around 7feet seperation was too far for this device. At that point, it worked fine from point blank range. Earlier today things have gotten even worse, so i changed the batteries. Not only that didn't do anything to improve the latency, it was skipping like crazy even when I brought the keyboard closer to the reciever module. To my knowledge, this particular one doesnt come with fancy controls found on logitechs, changing channels and such. Is there anything I could try to improve the latency?

Hmm. Is there something else possibly interfering with the device?

I was about to suggest a channel change until I read that you do not have that option. Try switching channels on any other wireless device(s) you may have.

edit: could also be a problem with the batteries... try a different brand or perhaps you got a bad batch, although that's unlikely. 🙂

well if a fresh pair of duracell alkalines cant get the job done, i doubt anything else would help 🙁

come to think of it, my wireless router keeps on loosing the signal every now and then, wonder if they are related somehow? i tried changing channels 1 through 11, and that did nothing 🙁
