Wireless keyboard/mouse that works from 8 feet?

I just got a playstation 3 and want a wireless keyboard/mouse to use with the system.

The PS3 is roughly 8 feet from the table.

What should I use? (the cheaper the better)

Logitech claims that their cordless MediaBoard series for PS3 has a range of 30 feet.

I have the Logitech LX 710 that my family got me for Christmas, and I use it without any problems sitting about 9 ft away from the receiver. I don't recall exactly how far back I could walk with the keyboard, but it was somewhere around 15-20 feet before I started dropping letters.

The receiver has a decently long cord that plugs into the PC/PS3. Make sure you take advantage of it. If the receiver is sitting right next to the TV it doesn't work as well.

And Logitech MX Revolution for mouse. Though the DiNovo comes with a mouse pad. You can also look at the Logitech G7 Mouse which works great too.
