Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo

When I type at my normal speed (about 60 words/min), some keystrokes are not recorded.

For example:

The quck brown fox jumped overth lazy dog.

I typed the above sentence at my normal typing speed. Two keystrokes were not recorded (the 'e' and a space). Does anybody have this problem with a wireless keyboard? If so, how do you fix it?

I have the Rosewill Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo and I am using it without the mouse.

Put the receiver closer to the keyboard, and make sure you have fresh battery's in the keyboard consistently.

If that doesn't help, you can always get a Bluetooth keyboard. Bluetooth has a higher data throughput, as well as much greater usable distance.

i have the same combo, and it is a MAJOR PITA from 5 feet away.

here is what it looks like at my normal typing speed:
Thequick rowfx jmped over hlazydog.

update : i was previously using it with mouse/kb plugged in to a ps/2->usb dongle (had to, the laptop only has 1 ps/2 port to spare). realizing that could have been the culprit, i removed the dongle and hooked up the kb without the mouse.

now it looks more like this : The quik brown fox jmped over the lazy dog (missed 'c', 'u', '.')
