wireless keyboard/mouse combo for mac

Platypus

Lifer
I'm looking for the most dirt cheap keyboard/mouse combo out there that is compatible with an 07 macbook and only uses one USB port. It seems like most cheap ones say they are not compatible with OSX but that seems fucking ridiculous to me. Any mac guys here know of something to fit the bill? I only have one free USB port.

Will you be using this at a desk? If yes, then get a USB hub, now you have more than 1 free USB port.

If not... then I have no idea.

Most of the time when they say they don't work in OS X, it's usually in reference to their driver software.. not the actual devices not working.

My dad has a Logitech wireless USB mouse/keyboard combo, can't remember what the model was, but it said it didn't support OS X, but worked just fine. It used up 2 USB ports though.

I have yet to find a USB keyboard or mouse that does not work with OSX.

Yep, a lot of it says 'not compatible' which just translates to 'the special features of this keyboard do not work under OSX, but simple functions like typing work fine'.
