i want to use either the microsoft standard wireless, or ms comfort curve keyboard, with an under-desk sliding tray.

can anyone confirmif the radio frequency link will get through the MDF desk? would it also get through aluminium/glass?

also does anyone know the range....under/over 6 foot?
