I have the Genius RF Wireless mouse and keyboard at home. I just would like anyone else who has a similar setup to let me know how long your batteries are lasting in the mouse and keyboard. I have had mine for 2 and a half months now and I have had to replace the mouse batteries already.

Anyone with RF keyboard and mouse or just the mouse or keyboard on it's own, please post your battery life up here so we can compare. I am a little concerned about using too many batteries, I am thinking of getting rechargeable ones.

I have the Logitech Cordless iTouch keyboard, and the Logitech Cordless MouseMan Optical mouse, VERY nice! I can play any games, and with pinpoint accuracy and speed (this convince you?)

In the keyboard, a set of rechargeable batteries lasts a good couple of months. In the mouse, a couple of weeks. But i have 2 spare batteries (each takes 2x AA), which mainly get swapped in/out of the mouse. 1 min after batteries die, i'm back up and running, and dead ones go in the charger ready for next time :)

I would definately go for the initial investment of some high mAh rechargeable batteries, as you will save a LOT of money in the long run. I've been VERY happy with this combo since i got them back in September last year, no problems whatsoever :)

I can even take them downstairs, and still control the computer upstairs in my room (very useful with the TV-Out and wireless video sender thingy to send video to the widescreen TV downstairs! ;))

I have the same setup as Confused. I don't use rechargeables with the keyboard, as it's so long in between changes, that they leak a lot of charge in the mean time. I've been getting more than a month out of batteries in my mouse, although I haven't yet made the switch to rechargeables.
