wireless keeps connecting to other networks

i want my wireless connection to stay connected to only one network, even if the signal is weaker than surrounding networks. how do i do this?

If you are using windows XP, go to control panel, then to network connections and right click on the wireless network adapter. Select properties and when the screen comes up, go to the "wireless networks" tab. at the bottom you will see a list of preferred networks, delete unwanted networks or list your own as the 1st on the list!

in that wireless networks tab, you also want to go into advanced and uncheck "Automatically connect to non-preferred networks"
