I have a Toshiba M45-S265

P-M @ 1.6
1 GB of ram
Integrated Intel video
Intel wireless pci card

Reinstalled windows about a month ago. The other day it stopped going online, but i was still able to access files over the network on my desktop. The adapter is functional. HJT this is clean and I ran the winsock fix. I'm stumped.

my brothers desktop is connecting wireless to the web fine, only basic wep encryption and the wired connection on the laptop works fine.
 
Make sure you have valid ip from your router when you are wireless
Run some ping test "ping www.google.com"
Disable any software firewalls
 
cannot ping google wirelessly, its giving a valid ip, I am able to browse files on my desktop on wireless

you guys can disregard thanks for the help. for somereason the ips were not refreshing properly. I entered a manual IP for the second time now and it worked.
