Wireless Issues with ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi AP Solo

It seems as if the install went OK, but I cannot get an internet connection. Here is what it shows:

Connection
- My SSID
- Speed 54.0 Mbps
- Duration 10 hours.....
- Signal Strenght Excellent

Activity
- Packets Sent = 384,000
- Packets Received = 0

Under Properties > Internet Protocol > Properties
- It shows Use the following IP Addresses and an IP of 192.168.0.1 and Subnet of 255.255.255.0, but there is nothing for the Default gateway. It also shows blank data for the DNS server addresses.

I compared this to my laptop that is running just fine on the network and I found that its wireless is configured for Obtaining an IP address and DNS servers automatically.

If I tell the IP Properties TCP/IP to select this info automatically, then then the connection says I have limited connectivity.

I went back to my setup for the ASUS Wlan and do not see anywhere for selecting automatic IP and DNS addresses.

I have also disabled WZC in services.msc

I have also removed and reinstalled the ASUS program from the ASUS website.

There are no issues in Device Manager.

I am really stumped and would greatly appreciate help and insights.

After several lenghty calls to ASUS they have told me I need to pull the internal wireless card and send to them. However, I have to disassemble my computer and get the serial number off the MB before doing.

I am in the process of building a new computer desk and will to break all down then.
