Ok, this is how it goes. I have a dlink DI-524 hooked up to a Motorola SB3100 cable modem with comcast cable. I have my laptop sitting in CLEAR view of the router about 10 feet from it. The wireless card in my latop (IBM) is a |Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter|. All drivers are up-to-date and the firmware for the router is also up-to-date. The computers connected to the router with cat5 cables all function flawlessly. Ok, now that you have an idea of whats going on here is my problem: I will be connected to the wireless network using WAP encryption and it works awesome for about 10 minutes, then the internet just STOPS working. While the internet may not work, the rest of the network does, aka file sharing and such. The internet works on the cat5 connected computers tho. It gives me no error or anything, the internet just stops, until I disconnect and reconnect with the wireless network. I connect using IBM access connections and all the connecting steps work fine except the last one, it cant configure the IP address. I think this maybe is the problem but I dont know how to fix it. I have ssid broadcasting enabled, dhcp enabled, I am out of ideas! PLEASE help, this problem is SOOOO annoying! Thanks for any help!
