Wireless Internet - Choices?

Ok guys,

I've got this motherboard - Epox NP+3 Ultra socket 939

I'm moving into a new house, and rather than run wires everywhere figured it would be time to go wireless. BUT, I know NOTHING about wireless. Looking at the specs from that Mobo it seems it does not have internal wireless connection. The house is only two stories, but the connection will have to be able to run from the main floor into the basement, as well as through several walls to separate bedrooms/offices. So, what is the BEST way to go for wireless? What kind of adapter do I need to buy for my PC, and what kind of router? At most there would be 2-3 PC's connected at a time. I'm getting Comcast 8MB/sec cable internet.

A wireless router and 3 wireless pci adapter for each of your 3 PCs. I'm not really sure if MIMO makes any difference if at all when it comes to stable connections, I have a regular Belkin wireless G 54Mbps router and its servicing 2 PCs and a laptop, works great and I too live in a 2 story house.

Thanks! Do you have any specific products in mind you can link to? Shall I get one of the PCI adapters with the antenna sticking out of back of it? Would "G" frequency be the best?
