Wireless Internet access in European countries?

Moshi moshi.

I'm thinking of getting a Sony Ericsson GC89 PC card so I can maintain Internet access while traveling in Europe. I am not familiar with this type of setup, so I would like to know what my cell provider options are for wireless connectivity.

The GC89 can accept a SIM card, and the user, with the right plan, can use it to browse the Internet.

Has anyone done this before? What temporary SIM cards have an option for Internet access?

Thanks!

If you're country-hopping it might not be a good idea since the country in which you buy the SIM card will be the only country you'll be able to use your air card in without incurring roaming fees. There may be some kind of deal you can get though. Orange is very big over there and I think they have a provider in every country (at least they did when I was in France (Orange FR), UK (Orange UK), and Italy (Orange IT) ). Link
