Wireless Intelli mouse Explorer owners!!!

When comparing the wireless to the wired new/old explorer, does your middle scroll wheel work just the same as the wired one, or does it seem a bit slower then usual? Without the Intellipoint drivers installed on this system I'm using the wired explorer. The middle wheel button scrolls smoothly. But when using the wireless explorer when I try to scroll down it scrolls slow slow then boom fast. And it's nothing compared to this wired explorer. With and without the drivers installed.

Whats your take on it? The same or not?
