Wireless Help

I have a newbie wireless question. I have a wired router in my den and I need an internet connection in another room. I was going to run a wire from my router to a jack in that room but I am having trouble reaching the tops of the walls in the attic.

I need to go wireless, so what do I need? Do I need two wireless routers? Or a router and a hub? Can my existing router be used at all? I know nothing about wireless networking, so please advise the most cost effective way to get a connection in the other room.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a wireless router, I have a wired router. I also don't have another machine to put a wireless NIC in, I need a port to plug my satellite receiver into.
