I currently have a wireless 802.11b setup and working until today without a hitch.
I had one PC and a laptop on the network. The router is a D-Link DI-614+, the PC is connected by a DWL-120 USB adapter and the laptop is connected by a D-Link DWL-650+ PC card adapter.
Everyhting was working great, full speed down and up on both computers. This morning I added another PC, my gaming PC (specs below) connected to the router via the same DWL-120 USB adapter as the other PC. The computer has 100% signal strength but only about 50% link quiality??? down speed is only about 200kbit/s opposed to the 1280kbit/s I am getting on both the klaptop and the other PC. My gaming PC is only about, seriously, 15 feet away from the router behind one wall.
Can anyway shed some light on why I am getting such a crappy performance out of my main PC???
