I've been using a logitech cheapy headset for a few months and the left headphone is starting to break up and go out intermittently. My best guess is that the occasional rolling-office-chair-over-cord incident has prematurely ended its useful life.
So, now I'm in the market to replace it and want to get a nice set that does more than fulfill the most basic of criteria. What I'm looking for in a headset is as follows:
? Wireless
? Clear mic with little to no noise
? Button(s) that can be bound for Ventrilo Push-To-Talk (PTT) functionality
? (optional) Bluetooth compatibility with my cell phone
What I plan on doing with the headset:
? Free roaming Ventrilo / TS / Skype within a ~30-50' radius of my computer
These requirements really, to me, don't seem terribly demanding, but I cannot seem to find any headset that will give me mobile PTT functionality. Is this just completely unheard of for a headset or am I just really bad at searching for this product? Does anyone out there have a setup like this that works well for them?
