There have been a ton of wireless earbuds coming out since Apple released the iPhone 7. It looks like a lot of them are using CSR bluetooth chips like the CSR8635.

The feature that interests me is is CVC6.0 which is active noise cancellation. Does anyone own one of these things? You can get a pair for under $20 on amazon. I'm curious if they actively cancel out noise all the time, or if you need to be playing music or something for it to work.
