Wireless getting interfered by video cables?

Hey guys,

I have a Netgear wg311 PCI wireless adapter. When I use it, it can detect a very good signal from my router, but it cannot connect to the network. After playing around with the antenna and such with no avail, I tired disconnecting my DVI cable from my computer video card. I saw the access light on the adapter blink, and when i plugged the DVI cable back in, it was connected to the wireless network.

This issue happens every time when I want to connect to the wireless network; I have to unplug and replug my DVI cable each time for it to connect. It seems strange to me because the network works fine after it is connected. Is the DVI causing interference with the network adapter? What causes it to act like this? Would greatly appreciate some help🙂

Thanks in advance,
Darren
