Wireless Gaming Mouse

Hello,

I just bought a new PC and was wondering if wireless mice have improved enough to be just as good as wired mice in games. I would prefer the mouse to be ~$50 or less and have a rechargeable base (unless disposable batteries will last 3+ months at a time). Also looking for a keyboard if there is a good bundle for <$80 or so.

Gaming is key. Currently using a Razor on my other PC and I love it.

Thanks for your help!

Many wireless do indeed compare favourably with wired mice in terms of accuracy and lag. However, if you're looking for an especially high performance one (i.e., sensor greater than 1000 cpi, switchable resolutions, etc.), then you have basically one option (as far as I know), and that's the Logitech G7. It's a good mouse by all reports, but if you really like your Razer, then I'd say there's a good chance you won't be thrilled with the giant-sized ergonomic shape of the Logitech. Unfortunately, there aren't really any relatively high-performance mice with Razer-like proportions.

Both Microsoft and Logitech mainly make bigger mice... The only wireless gaming mice are in Logitechs hands.

the only small nice mouse that ive seen is the VX revolution, the notebook version of the MX revolution....

i mess around with it at BB occasionally, and i actually came VERY close to buying one and trying it for gaming...the way i hold my mouse makes it very comfortable to me... (i use an MX500 right now)

i dunno, worth a look maybe. no idea how itd perform in games (its big brother does good though)

Nope, not in my opinion. The only one that might come close is the G7, but for the most part I haven't found anything that can come close enough to wired unless the gaming is really laid back and casual, then wireless can work there.
