I am looking for recommendations for a Wireless-G USB Adapter? It will be used on a desktop running Windows XP.

Thanks.

Yeah, they have about ten of them.

Can you be more specific, like a brand name or model number?

All of the thumbg size USB get hot.

For day long Wireless use PCI.

The Edimax is a good card and its Antenaa makes it better than the others.

However it is one of my mobile card I do not Not use it all day long.

This particular machine does not have PCI - PCI-E x1 and PCI-E x16 only (Lightbulb moment - Maybe I should be looking for a pci-e wireless nic?).

It would not be used all day every day, but could be used for a few hours at a time a few days a week.
