Wireless G and Toshiba Laptop HW incompatiblity?

I have a wireless G pccard from Linksys and a Toshiba satellite 1805. The wireless G card seems to be flaky when it is in the toshiba. I have tried it in a dell laptop and it work flawlessly. I have updated the driver and replaced the card once with a new one because of the way it was acting.

Any ideas?
