i need an wireless adaptor for an ibook. ive looked and i cant find one that supports mac. there is a pc card slot, so i would assume something should go there. usb wireless devices usually suck, so passing on those.

Get an airport card if you can.

Other than that, RALink has a Mac OS X driver. The applications for it were a bit craptastic last time I used them though (over a year ago now). So YMMV.
