Wireless for laptop question

I have a Linksys 4 port router ( wired) already, and want to use wireless for my dsl on my laptop. I don't want to switch the whole system to wireless. Does anyone out there make a transmitter/reciever that will connect to the port on my router to talk to the laptop?

of course moid, I use this myself at home. Just buy something like the Linksys WAP11, connect it to a port of your router, plug a wireless card in your notebook and you're good to go!
