I'm considering getting a wireless device to plug into my modem. (so my laptop can get online) My modem has an ethernet and a usb jack.

(pc currently plugged into ethernet)

How do I add the wireless to it? Just plug it into the USB? Will the ethernet jack still work?
I'm thinking the modem only allows one or the other... Not sure though. I want the wireless and my pc both plugged in at the same time so that I don't have to get a wireless adapter for the pc. (one to USB and one to ethernet)

I appreciate it.

The Modem issues an External IP I do not think that a Wireless bridge would even work on a Modem WAN port

Otherwise, Wireless Bridge is more expensive than Wireless Cable/DSL Router.

Wireless Bridge cannot authenticate for Cable or DSL service (when necessary).

So, all consider get yourself a Wireless Cable/DSL Router and plug it tot the modem.
