I have always hated batteries. This is for devices like wireless keyboards and mice and remote controls and other small devices that use up to 4 double a batteries :)

When u buy an electrical toothbrush they have recharge base station things but there are no contacts touching it. One of my friends told me that it works from either something spinning around inside the base station or a magnetic thing that spins something inside the toothbrush.

Idea 1: Cylinder rooms inside your house. Big electrical magnets on all sides of your room and have them go sequentially and have all your devices have a magnet that spins like a crank. (dont try this for knives and forks and other metal things will fly around your house) Are there other attrictive elements that will not bother other objects?

I also see solar panels

Idea 2. Radiowaves and microwaves are also in the light spectrum. I know that too many microwaves are bad for you and you will begin cooking but could devices retrieve enough radio waves to run like 4 double A batteries and not harm humans? If you want this one to be better you can add a camera onto a directional wave creater to your ceiling of your room...

Idea 3. Dog wistles are not heard by humans, can we use sound waves and pick up soundwaves?

Idea 4. Humans move non stop. The matrix battery effect is really crazy. Can devices like computer mice and remote cantrols somehow steal our heat energy? also i have seen flashlights at thinkgeek that work by you shaking them. does simple human movement give that much without shaking?

Idea 5. get in shape by adding resisters to your muscles. if you add small resisters to things like walking and eating and add metal contacts to your hands to power things? They could also do it to your diaphram or heart since those are going non stop so you dont have to keep tapping your feet :)

Any other ideas? The main thing is that the devices have to recieve more energy than they use.

1. A spinning room with a magnetic field will generate energy........it'll also interfere with your electrical devices. Yes, your remote will now be powered, but your TV will not work.

2. Using EM waves to power devices, you'd have to aim the EM waves correctly. You'd also need quite a bit of power. Anything that gets in the way would interfere (and possibly be burned depending on the intensity of the EM wave).

3. You can use sound waves but, waves of sound degenerate very fast. If your receiver is moved away from the source by a distance of 2, your wave strength and clarity will be reduced by a factor of 4. This can become a problem because you'd need a *lot* of power to generate such a wave especially at high-frequencies.

4. Why not just get a bicycle with an electric generating motor on it? Power your TV while you're exercising. Don't want to miss the Bachelor? Don't stop cycling.

5. Yes, we're all anxious to attach electrical devices to our muscles.......
