Wireless drops

Heres the problem. I am having problems with my wireless network. The BEFW11S4 Linksys v4 router is hooked up to a PC downstairs, and then there are two wireless PCs upstairs, each connected with their own Wireless Linksys adapter. for some reason, at COMPLETELY random times, my internet just dies on both wireless connections. Just drops out of the blue. Funny thing is that it says it's still connected but when I try to access the internet it doesn't work and then if I try to reconnect to it, it won't reconnect. The only way to fix this is go downstairs manually to the router and do a unplug the router and the cable modem, leave it for a minute, and then plug them both back in which is a pain in the ass. Anybody know what the problem is?

Your Wireless system is getting old and the Hardware that you mentioned was not so hot to begin with.

Might be that it is a Good time to upgrade to 802.11g.

Otherwise, the best Method to Extend Wireless Coverage depends heavily on the Specific Environment.

Look at these pages they describe most of the options that are within the means of Entry Level users, and choose the one that fits you environment best.

Link to: Extending the Distance of Entry Level Wireless Network.

Link to: Wirelessly Bridging Home / Network.

Link to: Hi Gain Antenna for Entry Level Wireless.

Otherwise.
