Wireless drivers for Linux?

I want to build a wireless bridge using a linux box, but I'm not finding any linux drivers for wireless PCI adapters. Anyone know of any cards that support linux?

ORiNOCO WaveLAN wireless cards have Linux support. I'm not sure if the PCMCIA-PCI adapter they sell will work with Linux, but I *think* it should - it uses a pretty generic PCMCIA controller.

I just checked it out, you're right. They did have linux drivers for the Orinoco cards. The only problem is that the pc-card+isa adapter costs just as much as an access point ~$180. I'm trying to find a cheaper solution. Maybe I should just give up and buy an access point... or get off my lazy ass and wire my living room with some cat5.

I agree, your best bet would just be to buy an access point.

Netgear MA401 has Linux drivers. Again, I dunno how well they'd work.

Note that an SMC router AND wireless access point (built in) costs only US$215 from buy.com.

And to think I spent over $250 for just the Netgear access point a couple of weeks ago.
