Wireless DHCP Problem

Myself and a neighbor have been trying to cut down ISP costs by sharing out internet connection. This would be done through a wireless connection. Problem is that although one can see the other network and the signal strength is great, DHCP data is not coming through. Linksys devices are being used (router, range expander, Wireless Access Point, bridge). Linksys tech support was no help so hoping someone here has tried this and come up with a solution that they will share here. TIA.

I recomend you ask the admin to remove this thread. What you and your nabor are doing can be consider a violation of the user agreement between the person paying for the internet access and the ISP. It could be a problem depending on the agreement with the ISP. Most ISPs will require you to have a comersial account to be able to share a connection like that.

As the post above me says, what your doing is a violation of your ISP's TOS. No one here is going to help you with the problems your having. Can this thread be either deleted or locked?
