I've been looking around for a while now, and I have yet to encounter a wireless card that supports my operating system. I don't suppose anyone knows of a particular brand/model of wireless-g card I could pick up somewhere that works under Windows XP x64. I'm hoping someone does. If I can get one, I'll update my system I upgraded to. I was surprised to see Linksys has no drivers for any of their cards under x64. Just found that out this morning. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Netgear WGPS606 refurbs on eBay and a few other places for around $30 could do the job, and be OS independent.

When I was using xp64 I used a linksys wmp54gs card, had to use a driver from broadcom, the chipset maker. If you know the model and revision of your card, you should be able to find a 64 bit driver for it.

Boo, I tried all of Broadcomm's available x64 drivers. Even for ones that don't fit the chipset I'm using. Nothing worked. I'll have to see if the latest reply to this thread yields positive results.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered a couple of Belkins that use their chipset. I have the software installed on the box. All I have to do is wait for them to get here and it should install the driver for the card no problem. Muchos gracias... this has been a serious pain in the butt. I wish more products supported XP x64. I never anticipated the OS giving me so many problems.

To date it is still a big mystery to me why the manufacturers opt to ignore writing Drivers for x64.

My guess would be that it is a decision coming from the None tech. Marketing ?Plotters?, and their convoluted way of thinking.

BTW. With Visat64 it is a much better situation.
