I was trying to copy a 3.6G file (Guild Wars dat file) from my desktop (wired) to my laptop (wireless), about a third of the way in the wireless cut out. I reset the router and tried again and this time too the wireless connection was lost. Looking on the router's setup page it says the wireless is fine but it doesn't show up on the laptop's wireless list. The router is from Actiontec (FIOS provided). The laptop runs Vista and the desktop XP. I hooked the laptop in with a cable and was able to transfer the file. The wireless seems to run fine for the internet, only being using it for the last 2 days though. Anyone experience something like this?
