wireless connects but still cannot use internet

I have a Linksys WRT54G v2 and it has recently started to mess up on me. My dad bought a Dell laptop a couple of months ago before he went on a trip, and it connected perfectly. A day or two ago, I downloaded the latest version of utorrent, and something strange happened:

1) My dad has come back, and his laptop will connect to the router (Excellent signal strength), but I can't connect to any web pages! I've tried turning off the firewall, but no go. He didn't change any configurations that I know of. How can you connect and still not have any internet?

2) Only one computer would connect to internet at a time. I have two computers connected to the router with cables. If I reset the router, one computer would have internet but the other wouldn't. A reset to factory defaults fixed the problem, but when I loaded up a configuration file I had saved months ago, it would stop working again. It also stops working when I touch the port forwarding settings, so right now, I have it set to factory default on the newest firmware and just a SSID and WPA password assigned.

Any ideas?
