I am having a strange problem with my wireless network. I have a Linksys 802.11b wap and a linksys wireless b notebook adapter in my laptop and a linksys instant wireless b desktop pci adapter in my main rig. The problem is, every now and then the desktop loses its connection or it becomes very very slow. The laptop works fine in any room of the house. This only happens with my desktop. It will stay disconnected anywhere from 1 minute to a few hours. Then it will reconnect. It is really starting to get on my nerves. Both computers are running winxp pro.

Any ideas?

Is there a cordless/cell phone next to the desktop? Are there any other wireless devices near it? And what kind of percentages is it getting in terms of signal/line strength?
