Hi-
I have a Mac Powerbook with an Airport card. I have a Linksys wireless access point (WAP 11) hooked up to a Linksys router. It always seems to take a couple of minutes for the Powerbook to register a connection, after either it or the WAP has been turned off or disconnected. Is this normal?
Also, what is the max speed that the Linksys WAP11 will run? I thought that I would maybe 200 KB/sec, but I only get 17 or 18. Its not limited to where I download from because its over the LAN. Also, I had the Powerbook right next to the WAP. What speed should I expect?
Thanks-
