Wireless Connection Issue.

I have a Linksys WRT54GX wireless router in my house and whenever a laptop is connected to it, it will lose connection occaisionally. No one is getting onto it from outside our house because I have MAC Filtering on but i don't know if thats the reason why it's dropping connections. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Only laptops? how far away are the laptops from your ap? What type of wifi card, any?

make sure you are up to date with the latest service packs and firmware

This phenomenon is usually created by marginal signal + noise.

Noise from other system is in the Air regardless of your security setting, or and anybody connecting or trying to connect to your system.
