I have an eMachines M6805 laptop computer with built-in 802.11g wireless networking. I have two PCs connected to a D-Link DI-624 Wireless Broadband Router through wired connections, and the laptop connected wirelessly. My issue is that my connection drops every few minutes (regardless of distance to the router) and gives me a message that says "Ohe or more wireless connections are available. To see a list of available ones, click here." When I click, the only option is to sign on to the only wireless connection there is. It then connects me, and tells me the signal strength is excellent. My question is: Are there setting on/in the router, or in windows that will make it disconnect and prompt choosing the same connection every 3-5 minutes? Any suggestions would be appreciated (except the ones to go fly a kite, ect...lol)
