Hi,
I recently picked up an Ipaq USB 802.11b NIC (HNW200 I think) for use with my desktop. I am running XP pro. I plugged in the device, installed the drivers, and set up the WEP key and the settings. The NIC identifies with the WAP and the WAP sees the NIC's MAC address, however it will only connect for maybe 2-3 seconds and then disconnect. There will be Tx packets, but no Rx. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong? I have tried every setting in the book and nothing works.
The signal strength is at 90% or so, so that is most likely not the issue. Also I'm using a wireless KB/mouse and wireless headphones but the headphones are 900 Mhz and the KB/mouse is RF I believe. TIA,
Nate
