Wireless Connection But No Throughput

Windows wireless network connection status shows system is connected to router. Speed is 54Mbps. Signal Strength is 0 bar. However, the support tab shows invalid IP Address with 0.0.0.0 for IP Address and Subnet Mask.

The repair tab said repair operation failed.

TIA

Thanks for your links. I think the signal strength is too weak. Had to manually configure the IP other variables. May need to add a repeater, then connect the repeater to the PC.

Might be.

However as an experiment try first to put the Wireless computer in the same room with the Router to make sure that it is not Hardware, or Hardware configuration problem.
