Wireless cards...

I think I just broke my Lucent Orinoco Silver card...

Are there any places online that has reviews of various cards?
Another Lucent Orinoco Silver card will be about $70 on campus (bought from another student, new apparently).
How does the
XIRCOM from Dell compare?
Or this really cheap RangeLAN-DS 802.11b Wireless PC Card card (encryption doesn't look too good)?

Any other recommendations? Good deals?

Client Wireless Cards has either 64Bit level of encryption, or 128Bit.

64bit is also called 40 WEP. The Orinoco silver is 40WEP (64bits).

So, from a point of view of encryption, the RangeLAN-DS 802.11b Wireless PC Card is the same as the same as the Orinoco silver.

Proxim RangeLAN-DS and Farallon SkyLINE

I am a Cisco fan!
Like the 340 and the 350 series..but of course you pay more for the Cisco logo on the card. 😉
