if i were to get a new wireless card for my desktop pc, which would u recommend, usb stick or pci card? are usb wireless weaker than wirelss card since it's so compact?

Agree with Old Hippie. Also, the wireless PCI card avoids the occasional temperamental qualities of USB. And, most wireless PCI cards also may give you a hard wire option - which is faster and more secure than wireless.

I agree with that.

I've used both, and find the USB to be better, simply because I can move it around to get the best signal, whereas the PCI card's antenna is stuck behind the desktop.

Also, desktops always have more USB ports than PCI slots. 😀
