Wireless card low signal question

So I put a wireless card in my pc and the signal is low. It shows I am connected to the network I setup but I cannot get online with my pc but my iPhone gets on it no problem. I read the help link in windows vista and it said that a cordless phone nearby can cause interference.

What can I do to at least get online on my pc? It shows the signal strength as 40-50% but I can't get online with my pc. Any help would be much appreciate guys...
