yeah, i picked up a hawking 108g for my G4... the supplied drivers didnt connect well on startup so i installed the drivers from ralinktech.com... works great.

50 bucks is a bit much to put into an old G4. The guy I'm setting this computer for has put 80 bucks for a new hard drive and a DVD burner. I know it can take the Airport Extreme card for sure as I opened the system.

I think anything with a Broadcom chipset will work out of the box in OS X. I use a Buffalo WLI2-PCI-G54S in an old G4 with no issues. It's recognized as an Airport Extreme in the OS.
