Wireless Card conflicts with mouse

Hey, a friend of mine has a laptop with a netgear wireless card in the pcmcia port. After turning the pc on, everything works fine for about five minutes. Then, the wireless connection dies and the mouse starts lagging very heavily and the computer seems to also slow down. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this and found a fix? Ive tried all the basic things like updating drivers, unseating and reseating etc.

Any help much appreciated,
Thanks

What happens when you disable the wireless card when this happens? Does everything spring back to life?

Oh yeah, and what OS is being used?

I doubt that it has to do with the Mouse.

Sounds more like the Wireless Card is over loading the Laptop.

Try another Card and if it does the same it might be troubled PCMCIA circuit.
