Any reviews on this router? I'm not implying you would post it if it sucked, but are there any firmware issues or anything like with the d-link?

SMC makes good networking products. i have their regular cable/dsl router and it's awesome. not sure about this particular model.

How secure is data sent via a wireless router? Can it be picked up rather easily, should I get a good old "hardwire" router? thanks....

just get the belkin refurbished one. comes with full manufacturer's warranty. only $30, less if you can get a coupon

The Belkin Router is $30 - 20% coupon = $24 + shipping and tax. Ordered one this morning. They also have usb wireless nics for right under $18 with the coupon.

Belkin has refurb "hardwire" routers for $7.49 (before coupon). As always, Belkin refurbs come with full retail warranty and tech support. On my last order of 7 refub items, they shipped 5 "new in the shrink wrapped box" items instead of refurbs!
