Wireless Broadband

I signed up for wireless broadband a few weeks ago. I have 384/128 speeds, Most of the time it is ok, way better than the dial up i've used for ten years. I've noticed that when i download files they sometimes get corrupted... Especially the larger files. This happens when i've downloaded DivX, quicktime, patches, songs, programs, pictures you name it. I know its the internet and not my computer because i'm wired to the dish. I called the company and they said they installed a new piece of hardware yesterday taht was suppose to help with Quality of service but I'm still having the problem today. Anything that I can do on MY end? someone mention TC/IP packet error checking? I dunno, anything would help!

Error checking is enabled by default, I think. Having a few corrupted files is somewhat normal, and can be attributed to a multitude of factors, but if the problem is severe, it is the ISP's fault.
