Wireless Bridge with Netgear Router?

I have a Netgear WGT624v2 and a WGR614v3. I'd like to be able to set up my WGT in another room and have it work as a wireless bridge to my other network (the WGR) with the Internet connection, but I can't seem to be able to find any configuration method that works. I've tried RIP, but (as I'm sure only makes sense) it only works with a LAN connection.

Is there any third party software out there for Netgear routers that would allow for bridge connections, or is there something I'm missing that would make that unnecessary?

Yeah, that's what I figured. Thanks verification, though.

And what do you mean by "lay one Cable"? Connect the two routers? 'Cause they two stories apart and I don't really feel like running cable all the way up the side of the building or something.

But on that subject, I noticed mention of POE on that website, and I've always been kinda leary of such things for no real reason. Is it an all right method or are there some draw backs?

And one last thing... I found this site (http://sarwiki.informatik.hu-berlin.de/Hacking_the_Netgear_wgt634u) that explains how to hack the firmware of the Netgear router so that it functions using the OpenWRT Linksys hack, but reading up on it on the OpenWRT website, they don't mention any Netgear routers, so I'm not so sure I trust its validity. Also, it is a different model router, but I figure if it works on it, it would probably work on mine. Anyone have any experience with this particular hack and/or has an idea of how likely it is to work?

Thanks again.
