Wireless b/g & Cordless Mouse conflicts

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a laptop with wireless b/g capabilities.

Since I'll be working allot with the machine, I'll also buy a cordless optical mouse. I was thinking about Logitech® V500 Cordless Notebook Mouse.

I don't know about that scroll wheel, if it is any good, but I'm used to other logitech mouse products, and they all seem very good.

My question is mainly about interference between the mouse and the wireless network. On the logitech site it sais the mouse has a 2.4GHz Micro-Receiver. 2.4GHz I think it's the frequency of the b/g wireless networks (Wireless Standards: A vs. B vs. G) ... so will I be better of that mouse? Or it's unlikely I'll find any conflict?

Thanks

possible.... in theory, i suppose.

likely, not at all.

you'll be safe, i've got a wireless mouse and wireless network and never experienced any problems at all.

I have two Microsoft Wireless Explorer mice within two feet of a 802.11g Wireless Router.

Not a problem.
